Situated in southwest Uganda, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Bwindi National Park is part of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Bwindi National Park is home to roughly half of the world’s population of gorillas and is best known for its superb gorilla tracking.

This biologically diverse region also provides shelter for chimpanzees, monkeys, elephants and various small antelope, as well as 350 species of birds including 23 which are endemic to the Albertine Rift.
